STEM LESSONS

Botany
Our world is covered in plant life, each unique in their own manner. These lessons introduce students to plant identification, importance of variation, and the vital cycles involved in maintaing a healthy world. Utilizing team work and cooperation students will explore the various botany concepts.
Adaptation
Survival is the name of the game for all organisms. In order to accomplish this adaptations play a vital role. Students will examine both structural and behavioral.
Electricity
Electricity is a basic part of nature and it is one of our most widely used forms of energy. In these lessons, students will investigate generation, harnessing, and production of electricity.
Newton's Laws
Students experience Newton's laws on a daily basis. Theses lessons explore the laws of motion as well as gravity, force, acceleration, and mass.
Solar
The sun is the source of all life on our planet. Radiant heat and light provide all organisms with energy. Students will learn the practical applications of harnessing this energy.
Energy
Energy is in everything. In these lessons students will explore the various forms of energy, the two types (potential and kinetic), as well as renewable and nonrenewable sources.
